We have finally received all of the money we raised for our Children in Need sponsored walk from Kilchoan primary school to the Ardnamurchan Lighthouse. We have managed to raise a huge £831.00 which is amazing. Thank you to everyone who sponsored us and supported us during the walk. A huge well done to the children for completing the walk and raising so much money. 🙂

The children have been very busy making lovely things to sell at the Christmas market on Friday, 25th Nov, at the Kilchoan Community Centre. We are raising money for our school fund and the mini bus fund so we hope you will all come along. We look forward to seeing you all there 😀

Here is a sneak peek at some of the bits we will be selling!

We held our annual Daffodil Tea on Wednesday 23rd March in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care. We managed to raise a huge £195, so thank you to everyone who came along and donated generously. We hope you all had a wonderful time and enjoyed the delicious cakes which were kindly brought in. We hope to see you all at our daffodil tea next year.

Thank you for coming to the Poppy Tea on 13th November. I hope that you all had a nice time. We raised £200 for Poppy Scotland, Help for Heroes and Erskine. Thank you for your baking donations, we all liked your cakes.

We held our annual Poppy Tea on Friday 14th November. It was a big success as we were visited by parents and friends of the school. Lots of people came.  Cheryl brought a very interesting folder of documents belonging to her great, great uncle Alan Cameron who was  a cousin on her dad’s side. He was a merchant seaman who then signed up for the New Zealand Army during World War One. Isla found out about Alexander MacConnell who was an ancestor of her dad’s and also fought in WW1. The afternoon raised £170 for Poppy Scotland, Help for Heroes and Erskine.

We held our inaugural beetle drive on Friday 5th September.  The children organised a raffle and the advertising.  Parents and friends came and enjoyed an afternoon of dice throwing, beetle drawing and a very busy raffle.  Thank to all who donated prizes.  £122 was raised. A Big THANK YOU! to everyone.
